Brad Huntington, a founder of reinsurer Imagine Group Holdings Limited, said yesterday that he has stepped down from his chief executive and president positions after a dispute that dates back to March with the company?s major investor.
Mr. Huntington?s resignation leaves the four-year old Imagine, a finite risk reinsurer set up in late 2000, down a CEO for the second time in its history.
Thomas Gleeson, who co-founded Imagine and was joint CEO with Mr. Huntington, left the company in March 2003 after he also fell into dispute with the company?s majority owner, Toronto-based asset management firm Brascan Corporation.
