Christopher joins law firm as partner

The woman of the year in 2000, Elizabeth Christopher, has joined local law firm Francis Forrest as a partner, with the name of the firm changing to Christopher Francis Forrest.

Ms Christopher officially joined the firm on April 22 from her own practice saying that running a one person show had proved too much to handle.

She said that Francis Forrest had an excellent reputation and an excellent base of lawyers, “so we started talking.”

Partner Nadine Francis said: “We are excited by the addition of Liz Christopher to our team and she brings a great deal of experience in both civil and criminal litigation. She also has strong ties to the local community which comprises a good portion of our business.”

The firm now has six lawyers as well as a consultant Queen's Council, Ms Francis' father Arnold Francis. Christopher Francis Forrest is now a general practice firm says Ms Francis as they do all manner of litigation including company, property and estate work.
