Cingular Wireless has launched EZEE! Prepaid service, a new prepaid international roaming service for Bermuda customers.

Through the prepaid roaming service, frequent travellers to the US will be able to make and receive calls to and from the United States (nation-wide coverage) and the rest of the world at a flat rate of $1.49 a minute.

"Our EZEE! Prepaid customers will be able to use their phones to make and receive calls as well as send text messages while roaming on Cingular Wireless' network in any of the 50 states in the US, the US Virgin Islands, Antigua and Barbuda, Cayman Islands, Dominica, Grenada, Barbados, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia and St. Vincent," said Cheryl Packwood, General Manager of Cingular Wireless in Bermuda.

The company expects future expansion of roaming destinations to include additional countries that are popular with Bermuda customers.
