RenaissanceRe Holdings Ltd. board of directors has nominated Jean D. Hamilton, 58, for election to the board at the company's annual meeting of shareholders on June 9. If elected, Ms Hamilton will bring the total number of directors to ten and its number of independent directors to eight. Ms Hamilton was executive vice president of Prudential Financial Inc., serving as chief executive officer of Prudential Institutional from November, 1998-November, 2002 and previously held various other positions with Prudential Financial Inc., including president of the Prudential Diversified Group and president of the Prudential Capital Group. Currently, she is a private investor as well as a consultant, and serves as a Trustee of First Eagle Funds and First Eagle Variable Funds.

Kevin M. Rampe

ACE Limited has appointed Kevin M. Rampe as global ethics and compliance officer. The former president and chief executive officer of the Lower Manhattan Development Corporation will be responsible for providing ethics and business practices guidance, educating the ACE organisation on that guidance and maintaining a global monitoring function to evaluate compliance. As of May 23, Mr. Rampe will chair a new company global ethics and compliance committee responsible for co-ordination of compliance-related functions across the ACE Group of Companies. His mandate will include communication and training for business ethics and compliance-related matters across the organisation.
