Company Moves
Former Italian Cabinet Minister Lucio Stanca has been re-appointed to PartnerRe's board of directors.
Mr. Stanca previously served on PartnerRe's Board from May 12, 1998 until January, 2005. His resignation was the result of an Italian law that imposed restrictions on cabinet members of the national Government from being Board Members of any commercial enterprise.
Mr. Stanca, a former vice-president of IBM, lost his post as Minister for Innovation and Technology when Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi's government was defeated earlier this year.
PartnerRe chairman, John Rollwagen said: "His prior knowledge of PartnerRe and his recentexperiences will be valuable assets to the Board and we look forward to working together again."
