Max Re Capital has announced the hiring of as senior vice president and North American treaty underwriter. Mr. Winn, an associate of the Chartered Institute of Insurance, has more than 15years experience managing property catastrophe reinsurance accounts.

He is a graduate of the University of Bristol in England, and was most recently class underwriter, North American Treaty of Limit Syndicate 566 at Lloyds of London.

Max Re Cap has also hired and as senior catastrophe modellers. Both men are reported to have extensive experience and have joined the company after working at other Bermuda reinsurers.

Former Max Re consultant has joined the company?s US property treaty reinsurance team. A 20 year veteran, Ms Curia most recently was the executive VP of North American Property Treaty for Platinum Underwriters Holdings. Ms Curia holds the CPCU and is an associate in risk management designations for the Insurance Institute of America.
