Mutual insurer Oil Insurance Limited (OIL) announced that Electricit? de France (EDF) has joined the company.

EDF, the world?s largest poser company, is a state-owned enterprise headquartered in Paris.

EDF is responsible for the transmission and distribution of electricity and related services to some 46 million customers in 24 countries around the world.

OIL CEO Jack Wesley said: ?We are very pleased that EDF is joining the other 81 international energy companies who are the shareholders of Oil Insurance Limited.
