Everest Re Group Ltd., a Bermuda-based property and casualty reinsurer, named Craig E. Eisenacher chief financial officer effective December 18.

He replaces Stephen L. Limauro, who?s retiring, the company said in a statement yesterday. Limauro, who has worked at Everest Re for 33 years, will assist during the transition period.

Eisenacher joins Everest from Bristol West Holdings Inc., where he?s chief financial officer. Davie, Florida-based Bristol West Holdings said in a statement yesterday that Robert Sadler, 43, will replace Eisenacher as financial chief effective Dec. 8.

Everest Re spokeswoman Elizabeth Farrell didn?t immediately return a voicemail seeking comment. Jeffrey Dailey, a spokesman for Bristol West, also didn?t immediately return a voicemail.
