Gibbons, Coopers fill the cosmetics vacuum

Most cosmetics lines formerly sold exclusively at Trimingham Brothers have now signed deals to supply the Island again via its two remaining department stores.
A.S. Cooper and Sons announced yesterday that it has also secured agreements to sell Clinique, Aramis, Clarins, Lanc?me, YSL and Fashion Fair. The company previously announced an agreement with Est?e Lauder and said yesterday that it still plans to add a few more lines in the future.
Last week Gibbons Company announced that before Christmas it would open a stand alone M.A.C. cosmetics store in addition to a new cosmetics department featuring Chanel, Christian Dior and Lancome, Guerlain and Givenchy.
