The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index fell 24.46 points yesterday to close at 4,404.98.On a quiet day of trading on the Exchange, BF&M Limited Rights made the only advance, gaining $1.75 to close at $1.75 as investors traded in 25,000 shares.

The only other activity on the Exchange saw Butterfield Bank decline 50 cents to close at $56.50 on volume of 697 shares.
The total value of the shares bought and sold on the BSX yesterday was $39,380.50 and the overall volume of shares was 697.
