Insurers appear on US webcast
Bermuda's corner was strongly represented yesterday at a live online forum on reinsurance.
``Global Perspective on Reinsurance'' was to have a panel of experts from Towers Perrin Reinsurance, Benfield & Greig and XL Capital.
They will be joined by editors from Business Insurance, Rough Notes, Risk & Insurance and Best's Review for the live webcast organised by the Producers' Forum Online.
It can be viewed on www.producersforum.com, and has been touted as a fully online alternative market symposium.
And today, the four insurance editors will face off in a live webcast with three industry experts to discuss ``Global Perspective on Reinsurance in Today's P&C (Property Casualty) Industry.''
The panel of experts are Bruce Connell, executive vice president, XL Capital, Michael Moran, senior vice president, Towers Perrin Reinsurance, and James Buysse, executive vice president, Benfield & Greig. The media representatives are Paul Winston, editor, Business Insurance, Matt Damsker, editor-in-chief, Risk & Insurance, Meg Green, senior associate editor, Best's Review and Best's Week, and Elisabeth Boone, Rough Notes. The panel will be moderated by John Kessock, Jr., chairman of Commonwealth Risk Services, which hosts the Forum.

The Producers' Forum Online will present live and pre-recorded presentations that attendees will have access to via a pre-authorised password. A library of white papers and interactive presentations will also be available for download. The online venue will allow for extended play of the presentations and educational materials for up to 30 days after the live event via an archived web delivery.
