Island Press (Holdings) Limited yesterday asked the Bermuda Stock Exchange for a six month extension for the filing of their annual financial statements.

The request stems from the extensive damage the offices of the company?s Cayman subsidiary, Caribbean Publishing Company Limited, suffered in Hurricane Ivan. Island Press said that loss of documentation due to flooding has caused delay in the audit.

Caribbean Publishing Company Ltd. has since acquired alternative accommodation in Grand Cayman.

The BSX has granted the extension until September 30, 2005
