Bermuda law firm Appleby Spurling Hunter has appointed Randall Krebs as the new head of its trusts practice.

Mr. Krebs joins Appleby from Everett, Krebs LLP, an insurance, tax (domestic and international) and corporate law firm in Canada, where he was founding partner.

Mr. Krebs, who has 20 years experience, specialises in advising on trust matters for commercial and private clients.

He is a graduate of the University of Alberta where he received a Bachelor of Commerce degree in 1982 and a Bachelor of Laws degree in 1985. He was called to the Bar of Alberta in 1986 and the Bar of Upper Canada in 1990.

Mr. Krebs is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada.
