Law firm changes name
Local lawyer Keren Lomas is changing the name of her law firm to Lomas Woolgar, Barristers & Attorneys.
The name change follows lawyer Paul Woolgar joining Ms Lomas' practice. Ms Lomas said: "Paul Woolgar was recruited in October 2001 to service my existing clients during a period of incapacity following a motor vehicle accident which kept me out of the office for a whole year.
"Following a most satisfactory association since then, I am happy to announce Paul's associate status."
Ms Lomas added: "My practice is again expanding and with Paul's assistance my clients can continue to expect the immediate and personalised attention they have always been accustomed to receive. Paul is a dynamic, young attorney with a great deal of experience in criminal, civil, matrimonial and commercial law. Paul was an ideal choice to join the practice to assist in its expansion."
Mr Woolgar said: "Obviously, we're both very pleased about the expansion to the practice. At the end of the day, client satisfaction is the single most important aspect of a legal practice and the changes that we are implementing can only build upon our already established reputation in this regard. The firm is fortunate in having a first class team, well liked by our existing clientele and we are now well positioned to meet the increasing demands for personalised service."
