Marsh & McLennan Cos., the world's largest insurance broker, hired American International Group Inc.'s Robert A. Parisi, Jr. and ACE Ltd.'s Larry Goanos as senior vice presidents in its financial and professional liability unit.

Marsh named Parisi, 42, to lead the group that helps technology and telecommunications companies select "errors and omissions" policies, which cover policyholders for negligent acts that harm their clients. He had been chief underwriting officer for AIG's eBusiness Risk Solutions division.

Goanos, 43, was appointed a senior client development adviser in the US. He was previously the financial services industry practice leader at ACE.

New York-based Marsh matches companies with insurers such as AIG and ACE. AIG spokesman Chris Winans and ACE spokesman Bob Grieves declined to comment.
