Michelmore invited to become partner
Former UK senior crown prosecutor Rod Michelmore, who has been employed in the litigation department of barristers and attorney?s Marshall Diel and Myers since July 2002, has been invited to be a partner in the firm.
South African-born Mr. Michelmore grew up there and also in Australia and Philippines before moving to the UK where he received an honours law degree from Kings College, University of London in 1990 and completed his Law Society final examinations in Guildford the following year.
In 1993 he was admitted as a solicitor by the Law Society of England and Wales and quickly established himself as a senior crown prosecutor where, from 1998, he was principally involved in conducting high profile prosecutions.
He is married to Bermudian Dr Katherine Michelmore (n?e Hubbard) and has a young son and daughter. Mr. Michelmore joined Marshall Diel and Myers in July 2002 working in the litigation department and was admitted to the Bermuda Bar in August 2003.
