New all-time high for index

The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index reached an all-time high gaining 16.84 points yesterday to close at 3,913.16.

Active trading saw Butterfield Bank gain 20 cents to close at $46.50 on volume of 1,000 shares and BF&M rose 50 cents to close at $17 as investors traded in 1,600 shares.

Belco Holdings rose ten cents to close at $40.35 as 200 shares changed hands.

LOM traded in 25,000 shares to remain unchanged at $3 and Bermuda Commercial Bank traded in 1,000 shares to remain unchanged at $8.95.

The total value of the shares bought and sold on the BSX yesterday was $165,720.00 and the overall volume of shares was 28,800 shares.
