New plant manager channels energy into making CableVision more customer friendly

Michael Jones has been promoted to Plant Manager at CableVision

Turning a disgruntled customer into a happy customer is a mission CableVision?s new plant manager Michael Jones will go the extra mile to please.

?I may be shopping in a grocery store and if I hear someone complaining about CableVision I cannot simply turn my head and walk on. I will go to that person and help them if I can,? Mr. Jones said.

He started with the company at age 18 and has worked his way up the company through a number of positions over the past 17 years and has become a valued employee at CableVision.

CableVision have promoted him to his new role as plant manager responsible for overseeing field technicians, maintaining plant, equipment and managing inventory.

He was promoted to the post from the position of chief technician.

Mr. Jones believes CableVision has transformed itself a service provider focusing on provider customer service.

He admitted that while in the past the company had conflicts with staff the current management understands the Bermudian culture and the team at CableVision feels like a close knit family.

?With the new direction CableVision has taken, especially with the current owners and management team, we have seen CableVision?s transformation from a simple cable television provider to a technologically advanced communications company.?

He was the first Bermudian to pass the National Cable Television Institute (NCTI) courses for installer technician, service technician and advanced technician.

?With the new services and better approaches to serving our customers, we are seeing a transformation in that area as well.?
