The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index closed unchanged yesterday at 3622.51. Butterfield Bank was the only stock to record any movement. It held at $43.50 after investors traded 7761 shares.

The Bermuda Insurance Index edged up 1.84 points to 1,144.03 as most publicly traded Bermuda insurers gained ground.

Max Re was up 3.06 percent to $23.60 and PXRE was up 2.32 percent at $25.09.

White Mountains slid 1.69 percent to $67.42 and Platinum was down 1.03 percent to $33.67.
