Todd Fonner, RenaissanceRe Holdings Ltd. treasurer and Stephen Weinstein, the company?s chief compliance officer, general counsel and secretary, have both been promoted to the position of senior vice president.

Mr. Fonner, 39, joined RenaissanceRe in 2001 as vice president and treasurer.

Prior to joining RenaissanceRe, Mr. Fonner served as vice president of Centre Solutions, responsible for underwriting and structuring finance and credit related transactions.

From 1993 to 1996 he served as manager of strategic planning for USF&G. He has over 15 years of insurance and reinsurance industry experience.

Mr. Fonner graduated with a BA in Mathematics from Middlebury College, Vermont and received an MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago.

Mr. Weinstein, 37, joined RenaissanceRe in 2002 as Vice President and General Counsel. Prior to joining RenaissanceRe, Mr. Weinstein specialized in corporate law at Willkie Farr & Gallagher.

Mr. Weinstein is admitted to practice in New York State and the District of Columbia, and is a member of the Law Committee of the Reinsurance Association of America.

He is also a member the Policy Committee of the Association of Bermuda Insurers and Reinsurers, the American Bar Association and other legal and industry associations.

Mr. Weinstein graduated with a BA from Columbia College and received a JD from Harvard Law School.

She is also a member of the Bermuda Human Resource Association and the Society for Human Resource Management and is currently pursuing her PHR (Professional in Human Resources) designation.

Peta White has joined Max Re Limited Property and Casualty Reinsurance Division as Senior Vice President and International Treaty Underwriter.

She joins the company with more than ten years of property catastrophe reinsurance experience, most recently serving as Vice President and Underwriter, International Department, at Ace Tempest Reinsurance Ltd.

Prior to that, Ms White worked at CAT Limited in Bermuda. She is a graduate of Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) where she received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
