NEW YORK (Reuters) ? Ocean and rail transport company Sea Containers Ltd. on Monday reported a quarterly loss, after a one-time franchise payment and legal costs of a commercial dispute.

The Bermuda-based company reported a second-quarter loss of $17.7 million, or 64 cents per share, compared with a net profit of $6.8 million, or 30 cents per share, in the year-earlier quarter.
