Spurling takes the reins at AS&K from Kempe
Leading local law firm Appleby Spurling & Kempe (AS&K) announced that Richard Spurling has succeeded Dianna Kempe as senior partner of the firm.
Mr. Spurling joined AS&K as an Associate in the Company department in January 1977 and became a partner in November 1978.
He was head of the Company department for several years until 1993 and continues his practice within the Department specialising in insurance. He practices in the area of insurance regulatory and corporate law, specialising in advising on corporate structures, incorporations and transactions.
Peter Bubenzer, managing partner of AS&K said: "We are very pleased that Rick has accepted this appointment. He brings his talent and many years of experience to the role of Senior Partner, and his guidance and contributions will continue to be of long-term benefit to the firm.
