Summer internship programme for students
The Community Education and Development Programme has again organised a ?Hands On Summer Internship? for students aged 14-17.
The programme will see students gaining work experience in a number of businesses around the Island.
Internships last three weeks and run 8.45 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. daily. The only requirement is students must commit to attend the full programme for all three weeks.
This year?s work locations include Mid-Atlantic wellness Institute; Bermuda Fire Service; Gorham?s Ltd.; the Ministry of Works & Engineering; White & Sons in Warwick, at Southside and their Haywards store in Warwick; Specialty Inn; Mid Ocean Golf Club and the Department of Correction Headquarters. Spaces are limited and preference will be given on a first come, first served basis. Students must be registered to participate.
