Fuller busted can feel more sexy with yesterday?s opening of The Bra Boutique, a store specialising in intimate apparel in a variety of styles and colours.

Owned by Liz Adderley and Jane Lewis the store is based in the Emporium Building on 69 Front Street.

Ms Adderley, the owner of Eve?s Garden for the past 12 years, said customer demand compelled her to launch a new business. As there was no space at Eve?s Garden to accommodate the line of bras she wished to offer, she formed a partnership with Ms Lewis to run a new boutique specialising in larger cup sizes.

?We want to show women they can get bigger bras in nice colours, with the lace and you don?t have to be a 32b or a 34b to feel good about your undergarments,? Jane Lewis said.

?People have come into Eve?s and said ?I realise I need the extra support from the industrial type bra but once in a while when I go out with my husband I like to have something lacy and see through?.

?Nobody has to know what a woman is wearing underneath, a woman knows what?s she wearing underneath but if they feel sexy inside, they will feel sexy on the outside.?

Aviana, QT Intimates, Panache, Lunaire and Renerolfe are some of the lines the store carries but client feedback will determine which lines the store will offer in the future. The Bra Boutique also offers a collection of seamless foundation underwear.

?We want women to understand, it?s not a matter of saying I have worn the same bra for the past two years, your body does change and they may have to try out a different style or size and we want women to take the time and go into the fitting room and experiment.?

Ms Adderley said she wants to give customers a more personalised service which she feels a boutique is more suited for, rather than a large department store.

She is also willing to give advice to those looking for the right fit and the correct size, a problem she said is common with many women choosing the incorrect size.

?With more fabrics on the market, suppliers are offering more fashionable colours and the industry is paying more attention to women, no matter what size they are,? Ms Adderley said.
