(Bloomberg) -- Willis Group Holdings Ltd., the world's third largest insurance brokerage, will consolidate all of its New York office space at One World Financial Center under a lease it signed today with landlord Brookfield Properties Corp.
The company has agreed to take 205,000 square feet in the Lower Manhattan office complex, it said in a press release distributed by Business Wire. The 8-million-square-foot, four- building complex is also home to the corporate headquarters of Merrill Lynch & Co. and American Express Co.
Terms weren't disclosed. The transaction will keep about 600 employees who are currently at Willis's Hanover Square and Wall Street Plaza offices in Lower Manhattan, according to the release.
