Ambac debt rating under review for downgrade

WASHINGTON DC (Bloomberg) — Credit ratings for Ambac Financial Group, the world's second-largest bond insurer, have been placed under review for a possible downgrade by Fitch Ratings.
Fitch cited Ambac's exposure to about $32.2 billion of collateralised debt obligations linked to subprime mortgages, according to a statement by the ratings company.
