JOHANNESNBURG (Bloomberg) - Aquarius Platinum Ltd., a miner of platinum and palladium, said a contract miner died on November 24 at its Everest mine in South Africa after a "fall of ground" accident 80 meters (263 ft) below surface.

Normal operations should have resumed later yesterday, the Hamilton, Bermuda-based company said yesterday in a statement to the Johannesburg stock exchange.
