Atrium credit rating remains bbb+ after Ariel takeover

AM Best has affirmed the issuer credit rating of "bbb+" of Atrium Underwriting plc.This action removes the under review status of the rating that was applied when the takeover offer of Ariel Holdings (Bermuda) was announced in July 2007.Subsequently, AM Best has withdrawn Atrium's rating following the delisting of the company's ordinary shares from the London Stock Exchange.
