Moor to head up AIG's new domestic group

NEW YORK (Reuters) - American International Group Inc., the world's largest insurer, said yesterday it promoted Kristian Moor to chief executive of AIG Property Casualty, a newly formed group to hold domestic operations.

AIG Property Casualty Group will include the AIG Domestic Brokerage Group companies, which are being renamed AIG Commercial Insurance Group; AIG Domestic Personal Lines companies; United Guaranty Corp; and Hartford Steam Boiler Inspection and Insurance Co. The company said the structural changes were made in a bid to give customers, shareholders and regulators a "clearer view of AIG's US and Canadian operations". Moor, a member of AIG's executive committee, joined AIG in 1981 and has served in various senior positions.
