Moody's Investors Service yesterday said it placed the insurance financial strength ratings of Assured Guaranty Corp. and its British subsidiary under review for a possible upgrade.

The ratings agency said it will review structured finance, public finance and insurance-linked securities of the companies.

Shares of the Bermuda-based insurance provider gained ten cents to $26.62 in afternoon trading on the New York Stock Exchange.
