$500 billion Invesco leaders meet with Premier today
Executives from the newest company to domicile in Bermuda are being given the red carpet treatment by Premier Ewart Brown this morning.
Afterall, it's not every day that a company with $521 billion of assets under its management shows up in town.
The UK's giant investment management company Invesco was given legal clearance by the High Court in London on Monday to redomicile from London to Bermuda and switch its primary stock exchange listing to Wall Street.
Senior executives were given the privilege of ringing the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange yesterday morning to herald the move to the US exchange, having been primarily listed on the London Stock Exchange until Monday.
Dr. Brown is due to hold a press conference with Invesco executives at the Cabinet Office today.
