A good day for BF&M

The Royal Gazette / Bermuda Stock Exchange index closed 5.65 points (0.11 percent) higher at 5,035.06 after a total of $1,183,481 worth of shares changed hands yesterday.
The biggest mover was BF&M Limited, whose shares improved 45 cents (2.2 percent) to $20.95 after 300 shares were traded.
Losing ground by 10 cents (1.6 percent) was Bermuda Aviation Services, whose shares dropped in value to $6 after 400 changed hands.
There was also activity in the banking sector with 68,425 shares in Butterfield Bank being traded, but not affecting the closing price of $17.05, and 3,938 shares in Bermuda Commercial Bank changing hands but with no change to the share price of $2.
The total volume of shares traded on the day was 73,063.
