Argo Group International Holding Limited, the company formed by this week's merger between PXRE and US insurer Argonaut Group, has announced its first annual shareholders meeting will take place in Bermuda at its new headquarters at 110 Pitts Bay Road, which wasformerly the office of PXRE.

The international underwriter of specialty insurance and reinsurance products in niche areas of the property and casualty market, said its board of directors has set November 13 as the date for its meeting.

Shareholders of record of Argo Group common shares at the close of business on October 1 will be eligible to vote at the meeting.
