Argus Group Holdings Ltd.'s shares yesterday fell 45 cents, or 2.65 percent, to $16.50 by the close.

While 1,479 shares of Belco Holdings Ltd. and 1,600 shares of Bank of N.T. Butterfield Ltd. were traded, there was no impact on the value of the shares, which closed at $20.50 and $17.05 respectivly.

The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) as a whole dropped 17.15 points, or 0.34 percent, to close at 5,022.31.

Meanwhile the BSX Insurance Index fell 0.65 percent, as AIG's $7.8 billion first-quarter loss, reported by the US-based company on Thursday, weighed down on insurance stocks.
