There was little movement on the Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange yesterday as it moved up 9.86 points to close at 4,978.07 in moderate volume.

In the insurance sector Argus Group shares dipped ten cents (0.7 percent) to finish the day at $15 after 6,800 were traded.

Moving ever closer to their 12-month high, shares in Butterfield Bank ended the day up 25 cents (0.4 percent) at $59.25 after 10,400 changed hands.

Thirty shares of Bermuda Commercial Bank were also exchanged but there was no change to the closing price of $9.

Likewise Kentucky Fried Chicken shares remained at $6 despite 10,000 being traded during the day.

In the transportation sector Bermuda Aviation Service shares remained at $6.25 after 20 were exchanged.

The total value of 27,250 local shares traded on the BSX was $778,775.08.
