Butterfield Bank will be holding a series of special events for its customers and employees to mark its 150th anniversary this year.

These will be concentrated around the month of May; "Heritage Month" in Bermuda, while the Bank will also publish a comprehensive corporate history book and erect special commemorative displays in its branches throughout the Island during 2008.

In addition, the Bank's advertising and certain corporate publications will feature a special logo to mark its 150 years in business.

Butterfield Bank's international offices, comprised of operations in nine key financial centres outside of Bermuda, will also join in the celebrations, holding commemorative events in their own markets.
