Calling all entrepreneurs, Butterfield Bank offers free sessions next week
Butterfield Bank is offering entrepreneurs a chance to learn how the bank's products and services can help them better manage and expand their businesses with four free information sessions during Business Banking Day next Wednesday, November 28.
A team of Butterfield Bank professionals - including business banking head, Taiwo (Tee) Ogunyemi, business banking manager Lucy Mello and retail business development managers, Paul Elliott and Stephen Todd - will offer entrepreneurs information, demonstrations and practical advice at the bank's Reid Street, Rosebank, St. George's and Somerset branches.
Mr. Ogunyemi said the purpose of the sessions, which are being held simultaneously at all four branches from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., was "to better inform entrepreneurs about how Butterfield Bank can help their businesses.
"We are already taking care of a significant number of small businesses on the Island," Mr. Ogunyemi said.
"We wish to remind small businesses of the services they may be missing out on, especially at our full-service St. George's and Somerset branches."
Lending advice, practical demonstrations about how to devise winning business plans - as well as information about merchant services, Internet banking and business credit cards will be available.
A local accounting services provider will be at each branch to help customers with the preparation of financial statements.
There will also be a chance to win three free months of 'Swipe on the Go' portable credit card processing. Refreshments will be available.
