NEW YORK (Bloomberg) — Covidien Ltd., the medical-supplies maker spun off from Tyco International Ltd., agreed to sell its European incontinence business for an undisclosed sum.

The French buyer will rename the unit Lille Healthcare, Bermuda-based Covidien said in a Business Wire statement today. Covidien didn't identify the buyer.

The Lille, France-based unit had sales of $109 million in fiscal 2007, Covidien said.
