Egypt insurer improves yearly profit by 13 percent

CAIRO (Bloomberg) — Mohandes Insurance, which offers insurance and reinsurance products in Egypt, said profit advanced 13 percent in the last fiscal year, without saying why.

Net income for the 12 months ended June 30 increased to 26.6 million Egyptian pounds ($4.7 million) from 23.6 million pounds a year earlier, the company said in an e-mailed statement to the Cairo and Alexandria Stock Exchanges.
