Specialist reinsurance intermediary and advisory firm Gallagher Re, has appointed Graham Wood as team leader of its Bermuda-based function, which is an independent division of Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. (Bermuda) Limited.

With over 20 years' experience as a reinsurance / retrocession intermediary and underwriter, Mr. Wood relocated to the Island from Gallagher Re's UK team in May.

He will assume his new role with immediate effect.

Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. (Bermuda) Limited has been at the forefront of the Island's insurance market for a number of years and Gallagher Re has expanded its presence this year.

The continued development of its reinsurance intermediary skill set is highly complementary to this and Gallagher Re's reinsurance capabilities correlate well with Gallagher's existing business on the Island.
