Golf, tennis, sailing, cocktails, party ....hard day at the office dear?

Hedge fund managers and other financial market-types had a dream first day at the start of the 14th Annual MARHedge Hedge Fund Summit that got underway in Bermuda yesterday and concludes tomorrow.

In an effort to ease into the summit gently, delegates were presented with an opening day agenda to die for. The itinerary kicked off with a golf tournament at Belmont Hills, featuring a hole-in-one prize of 25 hours usage of a Lear Jet. At noon the focus switched to a sailing excursion and a tennis tournament, and in the evening there was a poolside cocktail reception followed later by an "after-party."

Today the summit gets into full swing with a number of money market topics being discussed at the Fairmont Southampton venue.

Former Fed Reserve chairman Dr. Alan Greenspan is due to hold "a conversation" with the delegates this afternoon where he will take questions on financial subjects, global markets and more.
