SAO PAOLO (Bloomberg) - Laep Investments Ltd., which makes Parlamat dairy products in Brazil, said it is analysing the purchase of Pocos de Caldas soft cheese brand and assets controlled by Groupe Danone.

Bermuda-based Laep also is negotiating the licensing of Danone's Paulista dairy products in Brazil, Bolivia and Paraguay for 15 years, Laep said in a regulatory filing on Wednesday.

Laep, a private-equity fund, controls dairy maker Parmalat Brasil SA.
