Ms Tornari has more than eight years' experience in insurance and reinsurance litigation and arbitration work, including the representation of Bermuda insurers in London coverage arbitrations.

Tim Marshall, senior partner at MD&M, said: "We have enjoyed a long-standing relationship with EAPD and we are very excited about the opportunities that hiring Katie and working in closer cooperation with EAPD will give us to build our insurance and reinsurance practice in Bermuda."

David Kendall, co-chair of the Insurance and Reinsurance Department at EAPD, said: "Bermuda is a key market for our international insurance and reinsurance clients. We have been acting for Bermuda companies for over 20 years and we see our agreement with MD&M as a significant opportunity to enhance the legal services available to our clients in Bermuda."
