Catlin: Moved its headquarters to Bermuda in 2006 and has asubsidiary on the Island. Its takeover of Wellington Underwriting this year makes it the largest Lloyd’s underwriter.

Hiscox: Set up a subsidiary in Bermuda in 2006, and moved domiciles at the end of theyear.

Amlin> Set up a subsidiary in Bermuda in 2006. Says it has no plans to move domiciles.

Brit: lead investor in new catastrophe reinsurer Norton RB>
