Reinsurers from around the world will be today treated to Bermudian hospitality.

The Bermudian companies attending Les Rendez-Vous in Monte Carlo will host their annual open air lunch party in the Hanging Gardens overlooking Casino Square.

This year the world's largest gathering of reinsurance professionals has seen a record number of Bermudians attending. They are driven by a need to diversify their portfolio and are looking for European business to boost their balances.

There are 2500 delegates at this year's conference and over a dozen Bermuda companies are represented including Flagstone, Ariel Re, IPC Re, Everest Re, Montpelier Re, Max Capital, XL Capital Validus Re and Endurance Specialty.
