The Centre for Leadership's Women in Leadership conference on December 5 at the Fairmont Southampton Hotel is almost sold out.

Kendaree Burgess Fairn, secretary of the centre, said, "The CFL is pleased at the tremendous response to our Women in Leadership conference ¿ we are at near capacity - and likely to be sold out by Friday.

"Ticket sales are nearing 400, 500 is maximum capacity for the amphitheatre ¿ although with the set up we are not able to accommodate that figure.

"The interest in a conference for and about women in the Bermuda market place has been incredible, we are thrilled with the sponsorship and the attendance levels."

She added: "If there are any procrastinators out there we urge you to move quickly ¿ the remaining tickets can be purchased on line at boxoffice.bm or by calling 535 - 0639.

"We at the CFL are promising an event filled with information to help inspire, encourage and assist anyone in leading, recruiting and developing women leaders."

The conference will feature Benjamin Zander, an internationally acclaimed speaker with a message about leadership; and Carolyn Buck-Luce, a US leader in women's studies and research and co-chair of the international "The Hidden Brain Drain" Task Force.
