Argus Group Holdings Ltd. boosted its share price by 30 cents (two percent) to close up at $15.25 on the Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) yesterday.

The insurance company traded a total of 2,000 shares throughout the day.

Butterfield Bank also gained five cents (0.3 percent) to finish on $18.65, with 905 shares changing hands.

Kentucky Fried Chicken Bermuda Ltd. and BELCO Holdings Ltd., however, lost out to the tune of $1 (14.3 percent) and 95 cents (4.3 percent) respectively. They closed at $6 and $21, with 315 and 700 shares traded respectively.

As a whole, the Index closed up 0.85 points (0.02 percent) at 4,978.95, as 103,920 shares worth $463,918.25 changed hands.

The BSX Insurance Index also finished up 1.32 percent at 1,187.49.
