Argus Group climbs

The Argus Group was the biggest climber on the Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) last week.

The insurer, pension administrator and invesment group saw its share price gain 95 cents to close the week on $16.95, on the trading of 21,850 shares.

Fellow insurer BF&M lost $1.90 over the five days to close the week on $19.25, while Butterfield Bank slipped five cents to $17.05, as 162,580 of its shares traded.In the utilities sector, Belco Holdings gained 35 cents to finish on $20.50, while KeyTech climbed five cents to close the week on $13.50. During the five trading days, 202,391 shares swapped hands on the BSX. Turnover was $3.3 million. The Index ended the week at 5,036.61, up 0.12 percent or 6.4 points.

The BSX Insurance Index also recorded a positive week, gaining 2.34 points, or 0.21 percent.
