Argus Group Holdings Ltd. and Butterfield Bank both suffered downturns in trading on the Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) yesterday.

Both saw their share prices drop by five cents (0.3 percent) to close at $14.85 and $19.55, with 4,000 and 13,634 shares changing hands respectively.

The Index, as a whole, slipped down 9.90 points (0.19 percent) to finish on 5,130.47, as 18,334 shares worth $333,278.30 were traded.

The BSX Insurance Index, meanwhile, moved up 0.47 percent to 1,306.15.
