Argus proves value

Argus Group Holdings Ltd. proved to be the wisest investment as its share price soared 95 cents (6.1 percent) on The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) yesterday.
The insurance companyboosted its share value to $16.45, with 3,023 shares traded.
Butterfield Bank, however, dropped five cents (0.3 percent) to finish on $17.85, as 20,037 shares changed hands.
Bermuda Commercial Bank Ltd. and Devonshire Industries Ltd. traded 2,000 and 900 shares respectively, but their share prices held firm.
The Index as a whole was up 29.72 points (0.58 percent) at 5,150.13, with 25,960 shares worth $444,344.75 traded.
The BSX Insurance Index inched higher by 26.69 points (2.32 percent) to close at 1,125.03.
